Cultural Strategies transcreated SFC’s website to ensure the organization’s message and programs reached Spanish-dominant Latinos living within the Austin Metropolitan Area, utilizing the appropriate terminology based on their target audiences, heritage, age, gender, education, and income level. Simultaneously a Spanish Terminology Glossary was developed – taking into consideration all aspects mentioned before – so SFC staff can maintain a consistent message to their Spanish speaking audience. When the process was completed, we proceeded with a media buy for one of SFC’s programs, Double Dollars, purchasing print advertising, transit advertising as well as Spanish radio.
