Vme Austin, KLRU

The Austin-based NPR affiliate KLRU brought Vme, a Spanish-language channel, to Austin, TX. To introduce Vme to the Hispanic community, KLRU contracted Cultural Strategies to create a marketing program and raise awareness of the channel’s new presence. Cultural Strategies developed a promotional program utilizing Hispanic Heritage Month as a platform to raise Vme’s local recognition using experiential marketing as a core tactic supported by TV, print, distribution of 18,600 of the channel’s programming guides, and digital promotions.
