Austin Homeland Security and Emergency Management (HSEM) contracted Cultural Strategies to educate City residents on emergency preparedness, including how to create an emergency plan and emergency kit. Efforts included development and distribution - via AISD and neighborhood events - of bilingual collateral materials and a PSA online video, public meetings, stakeholder engagement, and media outreach.
