Airport Boulevard Form-based Code Initiative, Planning and Zoning Department, City of Austin

The City of Austin contracted Cultural Strategies to gather information regarding public perceptions and visions for the renovation of Austin’s Airport Boulevard corridor. To gather public input Cultural Strategies utilized video interviews, community-generated pictures showcasing what they loved and could be changed int he Boulevard, stakeholder interviews and focus groups; making sure multicultural audiences were consistently part of the conversation. All of the information and opinions gathered informed the development of the new code for the corridor.
